She completed her BDS from Gitam Dental College & Hospital in 2008 and then continued on to Panineeya Mahavidyalaya Institute of Dental Sciences, where she received her MDS Degree in Oral Medicine & Radiology in 2019. Dr Ancy V Ignatius holds a Fellowship in Neuromuscular Dentistry from the prestigious International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO)
Dr. Ancy V. Ignatius has proven her commitment to the profession via her noteworthy accomplishments and services. She has received several awards in recognition for her skill in the field of Oral Medicine & Radiology.
At the World Dental Show in Mumbai in 2016, she was notable for winning the Best Poster Award. Additionally, the same year, she received the Best Paper Award at 28th IAOMR National Conference (Kanyakumari). She bagged the Best Paper Award at the National IAOMR PG Conventions in 2017 (Bhubaneswar) and 2018 (Vijayawada) as well. She has published 7 Articles in both National and International Journals. Further, she received the Dr. A.L.Bhoweer Award for the Best Article Publication in JIAOMR in 2022, thus adding another feather in her cap.
Dr. Ancy V. Ignatius is a Life Member of Indian Academy of Oral Medicine & Radiology (IAOMR), Member of International College of Cranio Mandibular Orthopaedics (ICCMO) and the Indian Dental Association (IDA). She has been trained in Neuromuscular Dentistry and DTR.
Management of TMJ disorders, OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) and oral lesions has been the main focus of her Dental practice.
